Christmas Break!

The Family Schools Program office and Tutorial Classes will be taking a break from Monday, Dec 24, 2018, to Monday, Jan 7, 2018.  We wish all of you a joyous season as we celebrate the birth of our Savior!  May the love of Christ permeate your home and all you do.

Thanksgiving Break!

Our Tutorial Classes and our SOAR program will be taking the week of November 19-23, 2018 off for Thanksgiving Break this year! Enjoy time with family and friends.  We are very grateful for each of our FSP families.  Be sure to remember all the Lord has done and the many many things we have to be thankful for during this national holiday.

Annual Christmas Craft Make & Take!!

Join us in the Events Center at Covenant Life Church on Saturday December 15, 2018 for our Christmas Craft Make & Take where we celebrate Christ through creativity.  Keep an eye on your emails for the sign up info.  We ask moms to pair up and prepare a craft for our kids to put together that morning.  Children in grades K-12 are encouraged to participate.  Here is a link to the google form for sign up.

Moms’ Christmas Tea – Dec 1, 2018, 9-11am

Our annual Mom’s Tea is coming soon!  Meet us in the Spurgeon Room, above the bookstore, for a  sweet time of enrichment, encouragement and elegance you won’t want to miss.  This is just for you moms.  We will enjoy fellowship, food and a poignant teaching from one of our own reviewers.  Mark you calendars and  plan to be there Saturday morning, December 1, 2018.  Can’t wait to spend the morning with you.  Remember – this is a tea.  No coffee will be provided but we will have lots of tea options for all. Here is a link to the invite.

Recruiting Tutors

If you tutor in a particular subject or subjects let us know.  FSP would like to keep a list of tutors available to FSP homeschooled children.  We will post it on our Yahoo Group so that all FSP families will have access to the list. What we need from you are names and contact information of tutors you know that you have worked with or that you can recommend to other homeschool families.  We will also need to know what subjects and grade levels they tutor.  We will contact them before we publicize their information so if you just give us contact information that is fine too. We have a wealth of resources among our FSP moms and dads that I’m sure can benefit others by way of tutoring. Hope to hear from you soon!
